We are more than just a misspelling of the Italian greeting for Good Evening (Buona Sera!), for the past 3 years we have been an underground supper club in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area of MIchigan. Wonder Woman and Bad Fairy (our underground names) have produced underground events to benefit local community causes in barns, warehouses and the fabulous homes of generous hosts. We have worked with a loyal group of volunteers and adventurous diners to present our World, fusion, twisted-inspired versions of both classic dishes and new concoctions in 6 course dinners.

Behold yon Shrimp N Grits…

  1. Due to celiac disease, I cannot eat wheat in any form. How easy is it to eat gluten-free at your place? Do you make gluten-free adaptations, such as: gluten-free pasta or sauces thickened with cornstarch instead of flour? I’d really love to eat at your cafe, but I can’t afford to get sick from your food!

    • Hi Rachel,
We are always willing to make you whatever we have on hand that is wheat-free…we have recently put banh mi bowls on the menu, which feature no bread.

Most sauces we use are not thickened with flour…we tend toward fresh soups such as gazpacho or tortilla soup or avgolemano, all of which are gluten free…

If you call ahead & let us know you’ll be coming & have a special request for something we will do our best to accommodate you…we also make gluten free desserts occasionally.

We will check with our pasta pals from Al Dente to see if they have options as well & will post gluten free menu items here & our Facebook page…

Thanks so much for getting in touch!
